Q. WHAT IS SUSPENSION TRAINING?

A. You still use your own body weight and gravity to work every muscle in your body with the help of the TRX® equipment such as the TRX® Suspension Trainer and the TRX® Rip™ Trainer, body weight exercises, and various other functional exercises. You’re in control of how much you want to challenge yourself on each exercise because you can simply adjust your body position to add or decrease resistance.

Q. What is TRX® Boxing Training?

A. TRX BoxFit:

    •    Delivers a fast, effective total-body workout
    •    Helps build a rock-solid core
    •    Increases muscular endurance
    •    Benefits people of all fitness levels (pro athletes to seniors)

By utilizing your own bodyweight, Boxing provides greater performance and functionality than large exercise machines. Boxing focuses on total body strength training, moving through multiple planes of motion and works multiple muscles and joints-all at the same time.

 

Q. WHY IS SUSPENSION AND Boxing TRAINING DIFFERENT THAN TRADITIONAL EXERCISE?

A. Traditional weight training often only works one muscle at a time, while Suspension and Boxing Training focuses on total body strength training, moving through multiple planes of motion and works multiple muscles and joints-all at the same time.

 

Q. WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT IN A SUSPENSION HOUSE TRAINING CENTER WORKOUT?

A. During a TRX® BoxFit workout you will perform upper and lower body exercises that activate your core and allow you build strength, improve flexibility, balance and core stability. Our variety of exercises and classes will give you an effective, total body workout in each class with no chance of boredom.

 

Q. WHAT HAPPENS IF I SIGN UP FOR A CLASS, BUT CANNOT MAKE IT?

A. You may cancel your reservation up to eight hours before the class online or by phone, in order to avoid getting charged for the session. If you late cancel or no-show, we will be charging your account a $25 late cancel/no-show fee.

 

Q. DO I HAVE TO SIGN UP IN ADVANCE?

A. Yes, signing-up in advanced is required, as space is limited to a maximum 20 spots per class. You can use our online reservation system to guarantee a spot in the class.

 

Q. WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

A. Please wear athletic clothes and shoes. And don’t forget your water!

 

Q. ARE THERE SHOWERS, LOCKERS AND TOWELS?

A. No. There are no showers  but we do have lockers. Please bring your own lock for the lockers. Lockers are for daily use only and items will be removed overnight and placed in lost and found. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
